Isela Rosales

Managing Director, Head of ESG & Sustainability, Bridge Investment Group

Isela Rosales, CAIA, serves as a Managing Director in the Capital Markets Group as well as of ESG and Sustainability at Bridge Investment Group. She leads the firm’s ESG Steering Committee to oversee the development, implementation and refinement of firm wide environmental, social and governance initiatives and practices, driving sustainable investments and operations. In addition, she is focused on expanding Bridge’s relationships across consultant and select institutional investors, including pension plans, foundations, Community Re-Investment Act groups, family offices, and impact-oriented clients. Isela also Chaired the Bridge Women’s Network (BWN) Inaugural Kick-Off, is a Committee Member of BWN, and an active BWN mentor.

 

Prior to joining Bridge, Isela worked at Brevan Howard in Investor Relations, managing corporate and public pension, endowment, foundation, private wealth, and investment consultant relationships. Previously, she was Head of Client Services for Lyxor Asset Management, Inc. and Director of Marketing & Investor Relations for Coast Asset Management in their New York offices, cultivating institutional level client relationships for each multi-billion dollar firm’s hedge fund and multi-manager products. She began her career at Cambridge Associates, serving on consultant teams for the firm’s endowment, foundation, and family office clients, covering traditional and hedge fund asset classes. Isela received her dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in International Relations and Spanish from Stanford University, graduating with honors distinctions.

 

She has moderated industry panels on Real Assets, Diversity & Inclusion, and Opportunity Zones as well as supported panels as a speaker on Real Estate and Opportunity Zone investing. Isela holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation and is the Chapter Head Executive for the CAIA San Francisco Chapter. She is fluent in Spanish and has competed in Ironman, endurance cycling, and marathon competitions.

Chun Yee Yip

Director, Social Impact, Lendlease

Chun Yee Yip has more than two decades of experience developing and implementing social impact and corporate social responsibility programs with private and public partnerships. Currently the director of social impact at Lendlease, she oversees and drives the company’s Foundation efforts to create social value in the Americas region. Focus areas include workforce development, mental health and wellbeing, climate action and food security. Prior to her current role, she was the director of social impact at Global Brands Group, a member of the Fung Group developing strategic philanthropy programs, implementing sustainability initiatives, and creating community engagement solutions.

In the non-profit sector, Chun Yee worked in development and external affairs at Third Street Music School Settlement, the Museum of Chinese in America (MOCA) and the US Fund for UNICEF. She also has held leadership roles at fashion and lifestyle companies such as Ann Inc., Hello!Lucky and Givenchy developing corporate social responsibility programs, strategic plans, and integrated marketing and communications strategies.

Chun Yee’s commitment to develop and advance environmental and social sustainability solutions in communities comes from her hope to leave a better world for her young daughter. She is engaged with thought leaders in the property sector to further social impact efforts and is a frequent guest speaker on ESG efforts, workforce development strategies and mental health in the workplace. She received her BA in political science at Barnard College and MIA in international economic policy at The School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University. During her free time, she enjoys skiing, aerial yoga, traveling and eating dim sum.

Ellie Troxell

Harrison Street

Ms. Troxell joined Harrison Street in 2021 as an Associate on the Impact team. She supports the development and manages the day-to-day implementation of the firms ESG initiatives. Her key areas of focus include climate risk and resiliency, decarbonization strategy, environmental data management and analytics, performance tracking and reporting, and project-based support.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Troxell was a civil engineer at a sustainability consultancy where she developed and implemented urban climate action and resiliency planning projects for municipalities, utilities, and enterprise. She brings additional experience in green building certification management and academic research related to water equity in California.

Ms. Troxell holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from UCLA’s Luskin School of Public Affairs as well as a BS in Civil Engineering and BA in Liberal Arts from Colorado State University. She is a LEED Green Associate and American Institute of Certified Planners candidate.

Alecia Hill

Vice President, Affordable Housing, FCP

Alecia Hill joined FCP in 2022 as Vice President – Assistant Portfolio Manager and is responsible for expanding the firm’s impact investing housing platform, as well as advancing firmwide strategic initiatives within Social Impact and ESG. Alecia specializes in affordable housing and community development finance and works closely with FCP’s Acquisitions and Asset Management teams. Prior to joining FCP, Alecia worked in the Impact Investing Team at Enterprise Community Investments where she focused on new fund development, transaction underwriting, and innovation for a dedicated impact-focused workforce housing strategy.  She is a member of the ULI Washington Women’s Leadership Circle and Women in Housing Finance. Alecia received her MPA in Finance from Columbia University and her Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University.

Jessica Bailey

President & CEO, Nuveen Green Capital

Prior to co-founding Greenworks Lending in 2015, Jessica led the design, management, and implementation of the nation’s first successful C-PACE program at the CT Green Bank. In its first two years, the program financed $75 million in clean energy projects and executed the first securitization of commercial efficiency assets – more than doubling the volume of C-PACE transactions between 2013 and 2014. From 2004-2012, Bailey worked at the Rockefeller Brothers Fund (RBF), an $800 million foundation based in New York. As the Fund’s program officer for sustainable development, she co-managed a $7 million portfolio of grants focused on mitigating climate change and promoting clean energy.

Jessica has received numerous awards and positive recognition for her work. Most recently, she was selected for Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneurial Winning Women of 2019 program. In 2014, Bailey was named a “Champion of Change” by the White House for solar deployment. For her work designing the successful Connecticut C-PACE program, The Hartford Business Journal dubbed her a “Green Warrior;” and after co-founding Greenworks Lending and scaling C-PACE nationally, Jessica was named to Connecticut Magazine’s 2018 list of “40 under 40.”

Jessica received her graduate degree from Yale University and undergraduate from the University of Notre Dame. She is a member of YPO and sits on the board of PACENation, the League of Conservation Voters, CT and CTNext.

Eric Tilden

Senior Director, ESG, Elme Communities

Eric Tilden leads WashREIT’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) efforts internally and across the portfolio, including greenhouse gas emissions reduction, community engagement, human capital, and wellness. He spearheads the firms reporting, including GRESB, TCFD, and SASB, as well as manages overall ESG program development and implementation. Eric is a licensed Professional Engineer and has collaborated with project teams on a wide variety of sustainability and energy projects across the building life cycle.

Prior to joining WashREIT, Eric led Cushman & Wakefield’s Energy & Sustainability Services team within the U.S. Investor Services sector, overseeing carbon reduction, energy efficiency, and ESG projects and initiatives across the continental US. Before focusing on ESG, Eric was a Civil Engineer in Napa Valley, working on many of the well-known wineries including Opus One, Stag’s Leap, and Silver Oak, the first winery in the world to pursue the Living Building Challenge.

Mauricio Serna

Vice President, Starwood Capital Group

Mauricio Serna is a Vice President and head of Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) at Starwood Capital Group. In his role, Mr. Serna is responsible for the development, implementation and oversight of Starwood Capital Group’s global ESG strategy and ESG regulatory compliance. Mr. Serna is a member and lead coordinator of Starwood Capital Group’s ESG Steering Committee.

Prior to joining Starwood Capital Group, Mr. Serna spent four years in Goldman Sachs’ New York based natural resources investment banking group, and two years as VP of Finance and interim CFO at CREXi – a commercial real estate marketplace company based in Los Angeles, CA.

 

Mr. Serna received a B.A. with a double major in Economics & Government from Georgetown University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Jameson Hartman

Vice President, RET Ventures

Jameson joined the RET team in March 2020 after spending 4 years with Goldman Sachs' Real Estate IB group in New York. Jameson spends most of his time working with energy and construction tech startups and has a particular interest in sustainability. He is a local to Northern Utah, with a B.S. in Finance from Utah State University. Jameson enjoys anything and everything related to the outdoors but more often than not he spends his free time playing soccer with his wife or skiing the slopes of Alta.

Mike Hogentogler

Chief Operating Officer, LCOR

Mr. Hogentogler joined LCOR in 2017 and serves as Chief Operating Officer with responsibility for overseeing the Company’s operating platform.

Prior to joining LCOR, Mr. Hogentogler served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of RAIT Residential, a full service multifamily management company managing all properties owned by RAIT Financial Trust and Independence Realty Trust, both publicly traded REIT’s. His experience includes acquisitions, dispositions, asset management, property management, financing, treasury, accounting, and business system optimization. Prior to RAIT, Mr. Hogentogler worked for Gartmore Global Investments. Kelsey Harstad

Senior Vice President - Belay Investment Group

Kelsey Harstad is involved in all aspects of Belay Investment Group’s investment activities, focusing on sourcing and evaluating new investments, investment execution, and asset and portfolio management. Ms. Harstad has over 15 years of real estate industry experience in acquisitions, debt origination, joint ventures, fund investments, asset management, multifamily property management, client development and accounting/reporting. Prior to joining Belay, Ms. Harstad was a Senior Vice President at Aulder Capital, a vertically integrated multifamily value-add investment company, where she co-led the Acquisitions team and managed the Property Management business line. During her tenure Aulder invested approximately $500 million of gross asset value via 15 acquisitions encompassing over 3,000 units across seven states. Ms. Harstad also led the Social Impact Initiative at Aulder and was a founding board member of the Aulder Community Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides resources (both capital and volunteering) to communities in need. Prior to Aulder, she was a member of Stockbridge Real Estate’s Client Relations team with primary responsibilities for capital raising and new business development. Prior to joining Stockbridge, she spent seven years on the Investments and Asset Management team for Partners Group based out of the San Francisco and New York offices, where she committed over $1 billion of capital to real estate funds and invested over $100 million in JV equity and debt originations. Ms. Harstad began her career at Ernst & Young, LLP, where she was on the Audit & Assurance Team and became a Certified Public Accountant.

Daniel Lisk

Daniel Lisk is a partner in the Real Estate Practice Group in the New York office. Daniel represents real estate funds, financial institutions, developers and property owners in a range of commercial real estate transactions, including mortgage and mezzanine financing, equity investments, construction lending, loan syndication, property acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures, workouts and restructurings. Nicholas Hoffman

Partners - Haynes & Boone

Nick Hoffman is a partner in the Real Estate Practice Group in the New York office of Haynes and Boone. Nick regularly represents investment banks, commercial banks, and foreign and domestic private equity clients in sophisticated real estate transactions, including structured loans, mezzanine loans, construction financing, preferred equity investments and joint ventures. Nick devotes a significant portion of his practice to capital markets and syndication work in the debt space including note sales, intercreditor arrangements and participations. Nick also has experience with debt restructurings work-outs, and single asset and portfolio acquisitions and dispositions.

Nick has a developing practice in property assessed clean energy (PACE) financing, helping clients access cost-effective, revenue-neutral financing for energy-efficient improvements and renewable energy systems, which are repaid through assessments on the property.

Before joining the firm, Nick was a senior executive with the Ruben Companies, a Manhattan based developer, and was involved in all aspects of the management and development of its office and residential portfolio in New York, Washington, D.C. and Boston.

Adam Rochwerg

Manifest Climate

Adam is a lawyer with experience in climate-related policy, law, disclosure, and liability. He leads clients in a multidisciplinary approach to understanding and managing climate impacts.


Prior to joining Manifest Climate, Adam worked for a leading plaintiff-side class action law firm in Toronto where he led large public-interest litigation files. Previously, Adam worked at the United Nations in New York, where he served as an advisor for the Permanent Mission of the Maldives and as a policy advisor for an intergovernmental organization focused on small island state development. He also brings experience as a government affairs advisor for the United Nations Environment Programme, advising for the Oceans and Environment Division of Global Affairs Canada, and as a caseworker at Canada's largest environmental law charity, Ecojustice Canada.

Adam is currently a Global Fellow with the Centre for International Sustainable Development Law, and he serves on the executive board of the Environmental Law Section at the Ontario Bar Association. He clerked for the judges of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and is called to the Bar of Ontario.

Adam holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from Dalhousie University, a Master of Arts from the University of Western Ontario, a Master of Science from the London School of Economics, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law. 

Louie Woodall

Kayla Gross

Principal, Project Finance & Consulting, Value360

Kayla Gross is a Principal in CohnReznick’s Project Finance & Consulting team with more than 15 years of experience and is a member of the Firm’s Commercial Real Estate Industry Practice.

Kayla specializes in real estate finance and community development with a concentration in historic tax credits, new markets tax credits, and renewable energy tax credits.  She provides transaction advisory and consulting services to real estate developers, CDEs, lenders, investors, and syndicators nationwide.  She assists her clients in transaction structuring, financial projections and transaction negotiations and has closed thousands of tax credit transactions throughout the country.  Additionally, Kayla lends her expertise presenting at conferences and workshops about various tax credit programs.

Elizabeth Bell

Principal - Hamilton Lane

Elizabeth Bell is a Principal on Hamilton Lane’s Real Assets team, where she is responsible for due diligence of primary, secondary, and co-investment opportunities in real estate.    

Prior to joining Hamilton Lane in 2022, Elizabeth was a Managing Director with Jaguar Growth Partners where she was responsible for leading Latin American real estate private equity investments.  Previously, Elizabeth was an Investment Manager at Aberdeen Asset Management on the Property Multi-Manager team and was a Vice President at Equity International, responsible for investing in emerging markets real estate companies.  Earlier in her career, Elizabeth was an Associate at real estate private equity firm, JER Partners, and an investment banking analyst at Deutsche Bank.

Jess Bissey

Managing Director, Chief Sustainability Officer, AEW Capital Management, L.P.

BOSTON, MA (date) – AEW Capital Management, L.P. (AEW), a leading global real estate investment manager, today announced the appointment of Jess Bissey as Managing Director and Chief Sustainability Officer, a newly created position. Ms. Bissey will assume leadership over AEW’s longstanding Environmental, Social Governance and Resiliency (ESG+R) Committee, working with executives and professionals across the firm to drive a cohesive approach to ESG+R performance and its integration into AEW’s investment processes. Based in Boston, Ms. Bissey will report to Jon Martin, CEO, AEW North America.

Previously, she was Deputy Chair of the Social Enterprise and Impact Investing Practice Group at the global law firm, Morrison & Foerster LLP, and practiced law at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP.

Jess earned a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, a B.A. from Cornell University, and a professional certificate in Corporate Citizenship Leadership from the Boston College Carroll School of Management’s Center for Corporate Citizenship. Jess has been a frequent speaker and guest lecturer on social innovation, impact investment, and ESG.

Tony Liou

President - Partner Energy

Tony Liou is co-founder and President of Partner Energy, a subsidiary of Partner Engineering and Science, Inc. Partner Energy helps clients identify, capitalize and implement energy efficiency, sustainability, and ESG+R projects that meet business goals. Tony has worked for over 20 years in real estate acquisition and underwriting, engineering design, start-ups, and sales and marketing. When capital and public policy began to incentivize green project investment, Tony built Partner Energy with a team of professional engineers, architects, and sustainability consultants who know how to apply the technologies and programs that can make these investments profitable.

 

Tony shares his insights and discusses best practices at speaking engagements and in industry articles, and has presented at conferences such as MBA CREF, NAREIM Meetings, and CREFC’s Annual Conference. He holds a Master of Business Administration from University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.

 

Tanja Milosevic

Associate Vice President, ESG - Grosvenor

Tanja oversees, drives, and evolves sustainability at Grosvenor and works to enhance the firm’s existing focus on delivering social benefit in North America. She is leading the Company in its pursuit of achieving the World Green Building Council’s (WGBC) 2030 net zero carbon initiative. Additionally, Tanja runs Grosvenor’s Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) reporting in North America and steers employee-led Equity, Diversity & Inclusion committees.

Tanja joined Grosvenor in 2013 and previously held the position of Director of Community and Customer Engagement, where she provided strategic direction and oversight for community engagement and customer service initiatives for developments across North America. 

She is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), Urban Development Institute (UDI), Urban Land Institute (ULI), Canada Green Building Council, US Green Building Council, and the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC). She is also a participant in ULI’s Greenprint Performance Committee and REALPAC’s ESG Committee.

Tanja studied Urban Land Economics at the University of British Columbia, Dialogue and Civic Engagement at Simon Fraser University, and Business Sustainability Management at the Institute for Sustainability Leadership at the University of Cambridge.

 

Sal Tarsia

Managing Partner - CastleGreen

Sal Tarsia has over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate with specific expertise in structured lending and CMBS originations and underwriting, in addition to C-PACE financing. Prior to founding CastleGreen Finance, Mr. Tarsia ran the Principal Transactions group at Counterpointe Sustainable Real Estate, a Hannon Armstrong Company, where he managed all aspects of the C-PACE originations, underwriting and funding for ground up construction, adaptive reuse and heavy renovation projects.

Prior to joining Counterpointe, Mr. Tarsia had co-founded Bedrock Capital Associates, a boutique, commercial real estate lending platform where he served as Head of Originations. Mr. Tarsia also served as Senior Vice President within Capmark Finance (formerly GMAC Commercial Mortgage), where he was co-head of Lending Operations, managing the New York office of Capmark’s Proprietary Lending Group. He supervised a team of 22 originators, underwriters and support staff originating over $15 Billion of CMBS, structured floating rate mortgages and subordinate debt on all commercial real estate asset types nationwide. Mr. Tarsia also held underwriting and asset management positions at Matrix Acceptance Corporation, a specialty lender, Sterling Financial Group, a low-income housing tax credit syndicator and Bogner Equities, a boutique lender and real estate owner.  Mr. Tarsia received a BS in Finance / Management Information Systems from Albany University and a Master’s degree from NYU’s Real Estate Institute.

Melissa Gutierrez-Sullivan

Vice President, Head of Environmental, Social, and Governance - CIM Group

Melissa Gutierrez-Sullivan serves as a Vice President, Head of Environmental, Social, and Governance at CIM Group. In this position she is responsible for creating and maintaining a comprehensive ESG plan for CIM, setting related goals for the organization and managing ESG reporting and communication.

Prior to joining CIM, Ms. Gutierrez-Sullivan served as a Vice President of Cushman & Wakefield’s Global Occupier Services Sustainability and Wellness Practice, where she held a global position and managed a wide range of sustainability related programs. She also co-founded the Los Angeles-based Women in Green networking group. 

Ms. Gutierrez-Sullivan earned a BA from University of California, Los Angeles. She is a LEED Accredited Professional, WELL Faculty, and a Fitwel Ambassador.



Nina Tschinkel

Principal - Transactional Advisory Service

Nina is a Vice President at Catalyst responsible for leading impact initiatives, investor relations, and setting a vision for our firm-wide communications strategy.

With over five years of experience in sustainable fashion at Eileen Fisher, an industry leader in sustainable apparel and circular design, Nina brings unique expertise in design, business and sustainability strategy.

She is currently pursuing her MBA at Bard College, where she concentrates on sustainability and impact finance. During her MBA, Nina has worked on numerous sustainability and finance-related consulting projects to catalyze additional capital flow towards impact. Nina holds a BA degree from Davidson College.

Aundre Oldacre

Co-Founder Managing Partner - AoRa Development

Aundre started his real estate career by forming BK Brownstones. He invested, renovated, and managed his own multi-family properties in Brooklyn, New York and the greater NYC areas since 2006. He started with 2-4 multi-families. 

 

Aundre’s role as a founding partner at AoRa is to find, evaluate, underwrite, and raise capital for add value and new construction deals. He implements various strategies to find off-market deals from a vast network of brokers and institutional sources. Once acquired, he helps manage the process from start to finish, working alongside the team, ensuring the latest technologies are applied for the most efficient and expedient building methods.

He is a construction technology expert in leading innovations, advising governmental agencies such as NYC DOB and HUD. He speaks on various panels and podcasts about his work. Aundre focuses on sustainability, super insulation, renewable energy systems, PropTech for property management solutions, and modular construction. He uses municipal tax incentives, and other strategic financing vehicles to achieve highly leveraged, low interest capital. As a result, he increases investor IRR. 

Aundre holds certifications from the Cornell commercial real estate program and Columbia Construction Finance Management. The programs covered acquisition, managing developments, financing the deal, property management, asset management, and underwriting, accurately providing cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, feasibility, financial modeling, and risk management. 

 

He serves as the Chairman of the Off-Site Construction 

Council with the National Institute of Building Science, a board member of EIC PACE (Property Accessed Clean Energy), and is a member of the New York Real Estate Chamber. He partnered with Future Insights to win the NYC Building Hackathon contest. The joint venture will soon be working with the NYC building department to implement an automated permitting software that decreases their permitting process up to 80%, adding millions in revenue with more transactions, new RE taxes, and reducing employment costs. 

 

He creates a competitive advantage for AoRa with the ability to build projects 50% faster, up to 25% cheaper, with better quality, and less contingencies over traditional construction methods. He studies the latest in building materials, building techniques, pre fab, construction robotics, etc. We use the latest technology in renewable energy sources from solar, cogeneration, geothermal, and radiant heating to lower utility costs and increase NOI. 

Elisabeth Troni

Fund Manager - CBRE Investment Management

Elisabeth (Liz) Troni is the Fund Manager of one of CBRE Investment Management's global indirect funds. Based in London, Liz is responsible for performance and strategy of the fund, working in close collaboration with the CIO of Global Real Estate, CIO of Global Indirect Real Estate, Deputy Fund Managers, CFO of the fund and Region Investment Heads. 

Liz joined CBRE Investment Management in 2019 as Global Portfolio Strategist. In this role, she worked directly with large investors and the firm’s flagship funds to deliver portfolio design and investment solutions recommendations within and across real assets categories, structures and geographies. 

Prior to joining CBRE Investment Management, Liz was the Head of EMEA Research and Insight for Cushman & Wakefield, leading a team of 80+ staff and serving on the firm's EMEA executive leadership team. Over her 20+ year career, she has also served as a Global Portfolio Strategist for Aberdeen Asset Management and UBS Global Asset Management, advising on global real estate portfolio strategy and serving as a voting member of both firm’s Indirect Real Estate investment committees. In both roles, Liz was also an active member of multi-asset strategy committees and investment executions, representing the role of real assets in a wider portfolio context. Additionally, Liz served as a Senior Research Fellow for the Institute for Public Policy Research.

Liz earned a Bachelor of Arts degree (Honors) in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Investment Property Forum. She holds dual citizenship of the U.S. and U.K. and is proficient in Italian and Spanish.

Carol A. Sigmond is a partner in the Construction and Litigation practice groups at Greenspoon Marder. With more than four decades of legal experience, Ms. Sigmond focuses her practice on construction industry matters, including arbitration, appeals, bid protests, contract preparation, mediation, litigation, and suretyship. She represents clients in construction defect litigation relating to issues that arise when adjacent owners develop their properties, as well as expediting a builder’s construction project by ensuring that the proper contracts are in place.

As a seasoned practitioner, Ms. Sigmond has a history of litigating construction disputes for public works and buildings in both the public and private sectors. She also has extensive knowledge preparing contract documents, including design-build, construction management, guaranteed maximum price, and fixed-price contracts. Additionally, Ms. Sigmond is an experienced mediator and arbitrator handling construction or real estate cases for the New York County Supreme Court Commercial Division Roster of Volunteer Mediators and the American Arbitration Association’s Roster of Construction Industry Arbitrators.

For several years, Ms. Sigmond has taken an active role in shaping the construction law community in New York. She is a former Vice President of the New York State Bar Association and a former President of the New York County Lawyers Association. Ms. Sigmond is also a frequent speaker and has authored a number of legal publications relating to construction law and publishes “The Co-Op Condo Help Line” in the monthly Mann Report.
