Marcus G. Bodet is a private investment partner and technology acquisition specialist at B.I.G. Capital LLC (“BIG”), a private investment firm focused on acquiring software companies. With a strong background in corporate law and business transactions, Marcus has worked with enterprise software companies and Fortune 500 corporations, including major banks, insurance companies, telecommunications firms, and federal and state government agencies.

At BIG, Marcus directs acquisition strategies and portfolio management, overseeing negotiations and due diligence. His expertise bridges both the technical and business sides of software enterprise solutions, combining legal knowledge with entrepreneurial insight. Before joining BIG, Marcus had a successful career in corporate law, serving as General Counsel at a healthcare technology company, Senior Associate at a national law firm, and Managing Member and Partner at boutique law firms. In these roles, he led M&A teams, managed private placements, and oversaw public offerings.

An expert in mergers and acquisitions and technology licensing, Marcus has structured deals ranging from $2 million to over $200 million, guiding numerous successful corporate acquisitions. He has also negotiated and drafted technology agreements for leading corporations such as Burger King Corporation and JM Family Enterprises.

Marcus earned his law degree from Northwestern University’s Pritzker School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Health Services in Health Administration from Florida Atlantic University. Fluent in both Spanish and French, he is well-equipped to manage international business transactions and partnerships across diverse markets.

Payment is due in full at the time of registration and includes lunches, refreshments and detailed conference materials. Your registration will not be confirmed until payment is received and may be subject to cancellation.

iGlobal Forum Cancellation, Postponement and Substitution Policy

You may substitute delegates at any time. iGlobal Forum does not provide refunds for cancellations.

For cancellations received in writing more than seven (7) days prior to the conference you will receive a 100% credit to be used at another iGlobal Forum conference for up to one year from the date of issuance.

For cancellations received seven (7) days or less prior to an event (including day 7), no credit will be issued. In the event that iGlobal Forum cancels an event, delegate payments at the date of cancellation will be credited to a future iGlobal Forum event. This credit will be available for up to one year from the date of issuance.

In the event that iGlobal Forum postpones an event, delegate payments at the postponement date will be credited towards the rescheduled date. If the delegate is unable to attend the rescheduled event, the delegate will receive a 100% credit representing payments made towards a future iGlobal Forum event. This credit will be available for up to one year from the date of issuance. No refunds will be available for cancellations or postponements.
