As a manager with CohnReznick’s Cybersecurity, Technology Risk, and Privacy Practice, Deborah delivers cybersecurity and privacy program design to companies of all sizes. She works with clients on M&A due diligence, program management, operations, data management and privacy program development. She has been recognized for her ability to translate technical needs into viable business strategy; and develop transformation roadmaps that meet organization’s’ operational and strategic goals. Deborah has several years of experience with various industry-specific frameworks spanning cybersecurity, risk, third-party compliance, health and wellness, and privacy. Prior to joining CohnReznick, Deborah served as Chief of Staff for Business Systems Delivery at Moody’s, Client Delivery Manager at Neustar/Marketshare, and Director of Global Projects at Accessory Exchange. Deborah holds several degrees and certifications, including a Masters in Cybersecurity from Fordham University and CAE-CD from the National Security Agency and Department of Homeland Security.

Brett Dearing is a Partner and Exit Planning Specialist in the New York office with almost thirty years experience working with privately-held businesses and business owners. Brett assists business owners in working through the complexities of transitioning a family business, structuring comprehensive succession plans and growth planning. His specialization is preparing a business and business owner for transaction while maximizing enterprise value. He also assists his clients with mergers & acquisitions, recapitalizations, private equity purchases, strategic acquisitions, spin-out acquisitions, tuck-in strategies, ESOP’s and company valuation & analysis.

Before joining Cerity Partners, Brett worked as an outsourced Chief Operating Officer. He also served as Senior Director at BNY Mellon, a Senior Vice President at Goldman Sachs and Managing Director at AllianceBernstein. He was responsible for actively consulting with over 1,000 financial advisors across the United States on investment strategy and client engagement for privately-held businesses. Brett has worked closely with family offices, various hedge funds, REITs, and private equity firms to set up investment and operational infrastructures.

Brett received his degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He is the founder and President of the Business Owners Exchange (BXO), a boarded member of the Exit Planning Exchange New York Chapter (XPX). Committee Chair of The Alliance of Mergers & Acquisitions Advisors™ (AM&AA), and committee member of the Member- Exit Planning Institute (EPI) and the National Association of Securities Professionals (NASP).

He is a frequent speaker at events focused on educating and preparing business owners for the sale of their business.

Ari David is a Vice President of AUA Private Equity Partners, LLC. Previously Mr. David was an Associate in the Mid-Corporate and Endowments & Foundations Group at J.P. Morgan Asset Management developing and leading strategic initiatives for the business and helping to manage a group of over 60 investment professionals internationally.

Mr. David currently serves on the board of directors of Gourmet Culinary Holdings, Westminster Pet, Profectus Beauty and Epic Baking Company.

Mr. David received a B.A. in Economics from Tufts University, where he played Varsity Baseball and graduated with Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude honors, and received his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.

Payment is due in full at the time of registration and includes lunches, refreshments and detailed conference materials. Your registration will not be confirmed until payment is received and may be subject to cancellation.

All of our attendees and speakers will need to show full proof of vaccination to be admitted.

iGlobal Forum Cancellation, Postponement and Substitution Policy

You may substitute delegates at any time. iGlobal Forum does not provide refunds for cancellations.

For cancellations received in writing more than seven (7) days prior to the conference you will receive a 100% credit to be used at another iGlobal Forum conference for up to one year from the date of issuance.

For cancellations received seven (7) days or less prior to an event (including day 7), no credit will be issued. In the event that iGlobal Forum cancels an event, delegate payments at the date of cancellation will be credited to a future iGlobal Forum event. This credit will be available for up to one year from the date of issuance.

In the event that iGlobal Forum postpones an event, delegate payments at the postponement date will be credited towards the rescheduled date. If the delegate is unable to attend the rescheduled event, the delegate will receive a 100% credit representing payments made towards a future iGlobal Forum event. This credit will be available for up to one year from the date of issuance. No refunds will be available for cancellations or postponements.

iGlobal Forum is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of a substitution, alteration or cancellation/postponement of an event. iGlobal Forum shall assume no liability whatsoever in the event this conference is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed due to a fortuitous event, Act of God, unforeseen occurrence or any other event that renders performance of this conference impracticable or impossible.
