Grant is a seasoned investment professional with years of both deal and operating experience. Over the last few years, Grant has honed his operating skills by founding several innovative companies such as MoneyToGo, HelpMeToBuy and Vuru. Grant’s leadership and these companies have been profiled in numerous national media outlets including an appearance on CNBC’s The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch. Grant was also Director of Business Development at Isadra, an enterprise software company that was acquired by VerticalNet (NASDAQ: VERT).

Prior to rolling up his sleeves and running companies, Grant spent years investing in operating companies and real estate. He was the Florida Development Partner for The Lane Company, one of the largest multifamily development companies in the U.S. In that role, Grant focused on acquiring and developing apartments and condos that ranged from $15 million to $50 million in project size. Grant began his career as an associate at Sterling Partners, a private equity firm with over $4 billion under management. At Sterling, Grant structured investments in numerous companies and spent considerable time advising senior management teams on their growth and capitalization strategies.

Grant has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance from Georgetown University.

Mandeep Trivedi is a principal in the firm’s Valuation Advisory Services Practice. As the leader of the valuation team, she brings more than 18 years of experience to complex business valuations and financial analysis. She works with clients in a diverse range of industry verticals, including hedge funds and other alternative investment vehicles, technology, software development and licensing, entertainment, construction, staffing, hospitality and restaurants, and medical and dental practices, as well as a broad variety of service, manufacturing, and wholesale distribution companies.

Mr. Mirheydar joined Trivest in 2014. He is responsible for the analysis of investment opportunities, identification of strategic acquisition targets and monitoring of existing portfolio companies. Mr. Mirheydar was a Senior Associate at Sun Capital Partners where he spent nearly five years screening and executing middle market transactions across a wide range of industries as well as handling portfolio company responsibilities. Prior to Sun Capital, he was a Senior Analyst at Brown Gibbons Lang & Co., where he focused on mergers & acquisitions, refinancings and restructuring transactions. Mr. Mirheydar received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences from Northwestern University. He is a CFA charterholder.

Steven S. Beckett, CFA

Steve has more than twenty-five years of corporate finance experience, including over ten years of commercial banking background in asset-based lending and problem loan workout with such corporations as Société Générale and Citibank.

While at these two institutions, Mr. Beckett originated and underwrote over $175 million in new facilities and restructured an additional $400 million. He also secured the repayment of $200 million in non-performing and adversely classified loans, recovering $20 million of principal that had previously been classified as uncollectable. At Citibank, Mr. Beckett was given responsibility for managing five companies over which the bank had taken control due to loan defaults. Acting in a senior management role, he restructured the operations of each company and within twelve months each business was generating positive cash flow. He then successfully sold all five companies on a piecemeal basis, realizing $5 million in profits.

Mr. Beckett holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He is a member of the CFA Institute. Mr. Beckett is an accomplished long-distance swimmer who has twice swam the English Channel as part of relay teams.
