Nicholas Baccile

Nicholas Baccile is a Director within the Real Estate Investment team at Canyon. Mr. Baccile joined Canyon in 2018 and primarily focuses on sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, structuring and executing debt and equity investments in the Northeast U.S. region. Prior to joining Canyon, Mr. Baccile worked at RXR Realty, where he was responsible for asset management of equity and debt investments. Previously, Mr. Baccile worked at Ares Management, where he was responsible for underwriting, due diligence and ongoing asset management of new equity investments. Mr. Baccile is a graduate of Cornell University (B.S., Applied Economics and Management with a minor in Real Estate).

Alecia Hill

Alecia Hill joined FCP in 2022 as Vice President – Assistant Portfolio Manager and is responsible for expanding the firm’s impact investing housing platform, as well as advancing firmwide strategic initiatives within Social Impact and ESG.

Alecia specializes in affordable housing and community development finance and works closely with FCP’s Acquisitions and Asset Management teams. Prior to joining FCP, Alecia worked in the Impact Investing Team at Enterprise Community Investments where she focused on new fund development, transaction underwriting, and innovation for a dedicated impact-focused workforce housing strategy.  She is a member of the ULI Washington Women’s Leadership Circle and Women in Housing Finance. Alecia received her MPA in Finance from Columbia University and her Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University.

Elizabeth Bell

Elizabeth Bell is a Principal on Hamilton Lane’s Real Assets team, where she is responsible for investing in primary, secondary, and co-investment opportunities in real estate.  

Prior to joining Hamilton Lane in 2022, Elizabeth was a Managing Director with Jaguar Growth Partners where she was responsible for leading Latin American real estate private equity investments.  Previously, Elizabeth was an Investment Manager at Aberdeen Asset Management on the Property Multi-Manager team and was a Vice President at Equity International, responsible for investing in emerging markets real estate companies.  Earlier in her career, Elizabeth was an Associate at real estate private equity firm, JER Partners, and an investment banking analyst at Deutsche Bank.  

Elizabeth received her AB from Princeton University, where she was captain of the women’s soccer team, and earned her MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, majoring in finance and real estate. Elizabeth currently sits on the Board of Directors for Colombian Healthcare Properties and the Philadelphia Women in Real Estate (WIRE) Chapter.

Brad Bloom

Brad Bloom is a Managing Director in the Commercial Real Estate Finance Group at Citi, where he is involved in both the origination and syndication of new financings throughout North America for both CMBS and balance sheet execution. In his current role, he is responsible for managing the pricing, structuring and distribution of all subordinated debt originated by the group, including mezzanine loans, B-notes, rake bonds and risk retention bonds. Mr. Bloom has also been involved in the origination, structuring and execution of more than $15 billion of CMBS and balance sheet financings on behalf of a wide range of institutional sponsors. Prior to joining Citi in 2007, Mr. Bloom worked at BRT Realty Trust where he focused on the origination of commercial real estate bridge loans. Mr. Bloom earned a BS in Urban Studies from Cornell University.

Cary Carpenter

Cary has 20+ years of experience in different facets of commercial real estate ranging from structured finance to design and development. Currently Cary is a Managing Director of CRE Capital Markets, Trading & Syndication at Starwood Capital. His current responsibilities including pricing, structuring and capital commitment for the acquisition and sale of CRE debt for the Starwood REIT. He is also responsibility financing and sales efforts of whole loans via private sales and the CMBS market as well as managing the warehouse lines for the REIT.

Prior to joining Starwood Cary was a Partner at Coastal Capital (2009 to 2010) where he managed the process of acquiring performing, sub-performing and non-performing CRE debt. From 2004 to 2008 Cary was an Executive Vice President with Countryside CRE Finance and was responsible for the pricing, structuring and sale of all fixed and floating rate high yield commercial real estate debt.

Prior to joining Countrywide Cary was a Partner at Coastal Capital Partners; a Managing Director for Precept Corporation, Vice President of Structured Finance at Nomura Asset Capital; Senior Consultant at Deloitte and Touche; Project Designer for The SWA Group and Sasaki Associates. Cary earned an M.S. in Real Estate Development and Finance from Columbia University in 1993 and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Kansas State University in 1988.

Fred Cooper

Fred Cooper is Senior Vice President - Finance, International Development & Investor Relations at Toll Brothers (NYSE:TOL).  Toll, a Fortune 500 Company, is the 5th largest U.S. home builder by revenues, the 6th largest multifamily rental apartment developer, and among the largest land and community developers in the U.S. Toll is also one of the nation’s largest urban high-density/high-rise condo and rental tower developers with 50+ buildings and over 7,000 units completed. 

Since its 1967 founding, Toll has built over 150,000 homes. Toll serves first-time, move-up, empty-nester, active-adult, urban high-rise, and second-home buyers and renters in 60+ urban and suburban U.S. markets in 24 states. The Company has been named World's Most Admired Home Building Company 8 times in Fortune magazine's survey of The World's Most Admired Companies.

Fred Cooper leads Toll's Finance and Investor Relations Departments, which are responsible for its Wall Street, banking, joint venture, and rating agency relationships, corporate planning, M&A, ESG and financial marketing activities in the U.S. and globally. Since joining Toll in 1993, his teams have raised over $25 billion to fuel the firm’s growth from a $300 million regional home builder to a national land developer/home building company with peak annual revenue of nearly $10 billion.

Fred also oversees Toll’s exploration of international development opportunities and joint venture partnering relationships with major U.S. and international financial and development institutions. He has raised significant joint venture capital from international partners for major U.S. development projects totaling over $1 billion.

From 1989 to 1993, Fred was Director of Corporate Finance and Planning at DKM Properties Corp., the real estate arm of a Forbes Private 50 company and one of the nation’s largest private companies. From 1984 to 1989, he was Senior Vice President and a member of the Executive Committee of the NYC Financial Services Corporation,(now NYC Economic Development Corp.), New York City’s economic development bank.  From 1980 to 1983 he worked in community-based affordable housing and economic development in the South Bronx and Brooklyn, New York.

Fred has a strong personal interest in economic and real estate development and affordable housing in emerging markets.  He teaches in Wharton’s “Real Estate Development in Emerging Markets” course and has lectured on real estate finance and development since 2006 in Wharton’s International Housing Finance Program.  He is President of U.S. Friends of Kenya Community Development Foundation and an advisor to REALL International, which provides capital and technical assistance to affordable housing developers in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. He is a volunteer consultant with the Stanford University SEED Program, where he works with African entrepreneurs in the real estate development sector.

Fred holds an A.B. from Brown University and a Master of Public Policy in finance and international development from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. 

Troy R Denunzio

Troy R. Denunzio is an extremely customer oriented professional with a body of experience spanning more than 20 years.

Through working in every conceivable level of the title and escrow professional services industry,

He has gained prized technical skills which make him an expert on the correlation of title insurance and underwriting as they pertain to mezzanine financing deals.

Boots Dunlap

Boots Dunlap has over 15 years of experience consulting on and managing credit assets for many of the largest banks, insurance companies, CMBS servicers and private credit firms, dating back to before the 2008 Great Recession. Since co-founding RRA, he has overseen the origination and management of more than $1.3B of bridge loans and has also consulted for lending clients on $2.4B of distressed commercial real estate. Boots oversees the investment strategy and strategic direction of RRA. He is a member or has been a member of the Urban Land Institute, Mortgage Bankers' Association, Commercial Real Estate Finance Council, the National Association of Office & Industrial Properties, and various other industry organizations. Prior to co-founding RRA, Boots served as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army, where he completed multiple combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, earning him the Bronze Star, two Meritorious Service Medals, Combat Infantryman's Badge, Ranger Tab, Airborne Wings, and numerous other distinguished leadership decorations. He graduated from the University of Virginia and holds a certification as a Commercial Investment Member. 

David Eyzenberg

David Eyzenberg is president of Eyzenberg & Company, a NYC-headquartered investment bank delivering full capital stack solutions for existing, transitional, and to-be-built commercial real estate projects. With offices in New York, Washington D.C., Miami, and Philadelphia, Eyzenberg & Company is one of the fastest-growing real estate capital advisory firms in the U.S.

Affiliated entities Eyzenberg GroundSure (an institutionally-backed private equity vehicle specializing in the creation and acquisition of leased-fee positions) and Eyzenberg GreenCap (a joint venture with leading C-PACE firm, Greenworks Lending) provide innovative proprietary capital solutions for CRE transactions. 

Complementing his professional endeavors, he teaches graduate real estate finance studies in the New York University Schack Institute’s Master of Science in Real Estate program as well as NYU Stern and University of Miami MBA programs. 

Previously, Mr. Eyzenberg was a principal and U.S. lead for the real estate capital-raising practice of Avison Young, where he co-founded and oversaw a group that during his tenure expanded throughout multiple offices and consummated well over $1 billion of financing transactions. Prior to Avison Young, Mr. Eyzenberg was a managing director and head of commercial real estate for NewOak Capital. His tenure at NewOak began in 2011 after its acquisition of the investment banking practice of Eyzenberg’s Prodigious Capital Group, where he served as president since 2005. Prior to running Prodigious Capital Group, Mr. Eyzenberg was associated with several boutique real estate investment banks. He began his real estate career on the buy side working for Merrill Lynch, Ramius Capital Group, and Greenstreet Partners.

Mr. Eyzenberg graduated from New York University with a Bachelor’s degree in communications and a Master’s degree in real estate finance and investment. Mr. Eyzenberg is an active member of multiple industry associations and a frequent speaker at real estate events. He also sits on multiple advisory and corporate boards including those of REZI, VR WorldNYC, and Commercial Mortgage Strategies.

Robert Friedman

Robert has over twenty five years of experience in finance, real estate and management. He was a Principal at Lanesborough Partners and a Managing Director at Bankers Capital Realty Advisors, both New York commercial real estate firm which specialized in placing debt and equity on behalf of developers, owners and operators of substantial properties and has arranged several billion dollars of financing since its inception. Robert held a senior role on the international finance desk at Oppenheimer & Co in New York and began his career with Paramount Capital. He currently serves as the Chief Business Development Officer of FullStack Modular, a leading modular innovator in the design, manufacture, and construction of mid- and high-rise multifamily buildings, hotels, and student housing in urban environments. He was also a Co-Founder of TechPrefab, a modular developer that uses a proprietary, cloud-based. construction platform for the design, procurement, material delivery and installation of homes, multifamily and commercial buildings. Robert received his MBA from Yale University's School of Management with concentration in Finance, Real Estate & Marketing and earned a BA in Economics from Yeshiva University.

Drew Fung

Drew D. Fung, equity owner and Managing Director, is the co-Portfolio Manager for Clarion’s Debt Investment Fund. He oversees the Firm’s subordinate debt investment activities in various types of commercial real estate debt instruments, including mezzanine loans, B- notes and preferred equity interests. Drew is a member of the Debt Investment Committee, which approves all of the Firm’s financing activities, and a member of Clarion’s ESG Committee and Subcommittee on Resilience. Drew joined Clarion Partners in 2012 and began working in the real estate industry in 1987. He has comprehensive commercial real estate experience, including more than 20 years focused on subordinate debt that includes all property types and capital structures. He is a former Chair of a Urban Land Institute (ULI) Urban Development/Mixed-Use Council, a member of the Commercial Real Estate Finance

Amanda Gray

Amanda Gray is a Director of Capital Markets at Invesco Real Estate.

Amanda began her investment career in 2016 and joined Invesco Real Estate in 2018. Prior
to joining Invesco, she worked in the real estate banking group at Wells Fargo, where she
focused on balance sheet debt originations.

Amanda earned a Business Administration degree with a minor in Psychology from the
University of Southern California.

Kelsey Harstad

Kelsey Harstad is involved in all aspects of Belay Investment Group’s investment activities, focusing on sourcing and evaluating new investments, investment execution, and asset and portfolio management. Ms. Harstad has over 17 years of real estate industry experience in acquisitions, debt origination, joint ventures, fund investments, asset management, multifamily property management, client development and accounting/reporting. Prior to joining Belay, Ms. Harstad was a Senior Vice President at Aulder Capital, a vertically integrated multifamily value-add investment company, where she co-led the Acquisitions team and managed the Property Management business line. During her tenure Aulder invested approximately $500 million of gross asset value via 15 acquisitions encompassing over 3,000 units across seven states. Ms. Harstad also led the Social Impact Initiative at Aulder and was a founding board member of the Aulder Community Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides resources (both capital and volunteering) to communities in need. Prior to Aulder, she was a member of Stockbridge Real Estate’s Client Relations team with primary responsibilities for capital raising and new business development. Prior to joining Stockbridge, she spent seven years on the Investments and Asset Management team for Partners Group based out of the San Francisco and New York offices, where she committed over $1 billion of capital to real estate funds and invested over $100 million in JV equity and debt originations. Ms. Harstad began her career at Ernst & Young, LLP, where she was on the Audit & Assurance Team and became a Certified Public Accountant.

Jameson Hartman

As a Vice President at RET Ventures, Jameson underwrites potential investments for the firm, supports the growth of RET’s portfolio companies and works closely with the firm’s Strategic LPs to identify and address technology pain points in their operations. Prior to joining RET, Jameson spent four years with Goldman Sachs’ Real Estate investment banking group in New York. A Northern Utah local, Jameson received his B.S. in Finance from Utah State University. Jameson enjoys anything and everything related to the outdoors and spends most of his free time playing soccer with his wife or skiing the slopes of Alta.

Diego Hodara

Diego Hodara has over 20 years of experience in market research, acquisition, strategic development, financing, design, construction and property management. He has been involved in several projects including ground-up and rehabilitation developments not only in the U.S.A. but also in Latin America.

In 2011, he founded Titanium Realty Group. Since then, he has built a strong network of brokers, lenders, owners and property managers which facilitate property acquisitions and re-positions. Currently, Titanium Realty Group has more than 900 units under development.

In 2008 he created a strategic alliance with WDesigne, a millwork and construction company licensed and insured in NY and NJ to provide service for in-house projects as well as for third party projects.

His ability to team up with brokers, contractors and professionals involved in his development projects, identify a value-add opportunity and execute them efficiently, are critical attributes to understand the success of Titanium Realty Group.

Diego Hodara holds a Master’s degree in Real Estate Finance and Investment from NYU. He holds a degree in Architecture and an MBA from the University of Uruguay. He is an Academy Board Member and Professor at ORT University in Uruguay for the Real Estate Certificate program.

Samuel Ing

Mr. Ing spent his career in the area of family investments and international business in real estate and other sectors.  Over the course of the last couple of decades, he has built and re-positioned a variety of companies and real estate projects.   

Mr. Ing also acquired for the family and other partners distressed property and debt which he successfully turned around.  He has served in advisory capacities to the Board of Director’s and a member of the Board of various companies.  

More recently, he has focused on co-investments in large vertical ground up real estate developments in key markets.    He has a proprietary investment structure that generates financial uplift by coupling various proprietary ESG technologies and financial structures.    These simultaneously meet environmental and sustainability objectives that are being encouraged or sometimes mandated in many markets while at the same time financing projects and improving financial performance.

Michael Lohmeier

Michael Lohmeier is IMPACT’s Chief Investment Officer and has responsibility for the strategy and execution of IMPACT’s investment programs. Prior to joining IMPACT in 2017, Michael spent 19 years in commercial lending and investment management, including 12 years at Wespath Benefits and Investments, serving as its Managing Director – Investment Management. As Managing Director, Michael led Wespath’s Equity, Fixed Income and Positive Social Purpose Lending Program (PSP) teams. Michael’s prior experience includes work with Fannie Mae, the Illinois Housing Development Authority and Northern Trust. Michael holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Northwestern University and a Masters of Public Policy from The University of Chicago.

Stephen Alpart

Stephen Alpart is our Vice President and Chief Investment Officer and has served in that role since the Company’s inception. Mr. Alpart is also our Co-Head of Originations and a member of our Investment Committee. From 2014 to 2020, he was a Managing Director at Pine River Capital Management L.P., our Former Manager. Prior to joining Pine River, he was Managing Director in the Global Real Estate Finance Group at Prudential Real Estate Investment (now PGIM Real Estate) 2009 to 2014, responsible for managing a series of close-end debt funds in the United States. Previously, he was a Managing Director in the Real Estate Group at GMAC Commercial Mortgage and Capmark Investments where he focused on originating, underwriting and closing large structured commercial real estate loans for private equity firms and private owner/operators. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director in the Real Estate Group at PaineWebber & Co., an investment bank and stock brokerage firm, and later an Executive Director in the Real Estate Group of UBS Group AG, a Swiss multinational investment bank and financial services company, where he focused on originating, underwriting and closing large structured commercial real estate loans for private equity firms and owner/operators. He has worked in real estate finance and debt investing for over 25 years in a variety of functions, including third-party funds management, proprietary on-book lending, transaction advisory business, loan syndications, loan sales and workouts/restructurings. Mr. Alpart received a Masters in Business Administration, Finance and Real Estate from New York University and a B.S. in Business Administration, Accounting and Economics from Washington University.

Adam Fruitbine

Adam is a senior real estate investment professional with 25 years of industry experience, with a concentration in the multifamily asset class. This includes leadership expertise in acquisitions, structured equity finance investing, capital markets, building and leading investment management platforms, fundraising and distribution outreach, development and portfolio management.

Adam currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer for MAXX Properties, a national multifamily owner, operator.  Adam is responsible for leading the firm's sourcing and origination of multifamily investment opportunities throughout the U.S.  Investment strategies include: wholly-owned core and value-add acquisitions as well as providing GP co-investment and JV/LP equity capital to local operators and multifamily developers.  Additionally, Adam is responsible for collaboration with MAXX leadership to build-out the firm's investment management business. This includes building and leading a team of investor relations and capital markets professionals.

Adam previously served as Director of Capital Markets at Pacific Urban Investors.  Adam was a member of the Senior Management Team, with leadership roles for new market expansion in Eastern U.S. markets as well as leading capital markets and fundraising efforts for the firm's expanding investment management platform and strategies.  Prior to Pacific, Adam was a Senior Managing Director with Waypoint Residential leading capital markets efforts, and a Managing Director, Portfolio Manager and Divisional Partner at Alliance Residential Company overseeing development activity in the Northeast as well as institutional investor fundraising and portfolio management efforts for the firm’s discretionary investment management platform. Prior to Alliance, Adam was a Managing Director and Partner at The Tuckerman Group, formerly an affiliate of State Street Global Advisors, responsible for sourcing and structuring new JV equity and acquisition transactions nationally, as well as managing institutional investor relationships.

Adam received his B.B.A. in International Business from The George Washington University and an M.S. in Real Estate Finance from New York University.

Adam is a member of the Urban Land Institute’s (ULI) Multifamily Gold Product Council Leadership Team, and member/former Finance Chair for the National Multi Housing Council (NMHC).  Adam is also a member of the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) Capital Markets Affinity Group.

 

 

Edward Corwin

E.J. Corwin leads all aspects of FCP’s Structured Investments business nationwide, and is responsible for expanding the company’s portfolio of Structured Investments via new strategies and products.

Prior to joining FCP, E.J. was a Senior Vice President in the Special Situations/REMAG Group and the Real Estate Merchant Banking Group at Wells Fargo. He earned both his MBA (Ross Business School) and Master of Engineering from the University of Michigan, and his BS in Civil Engineering from Lehigh University.

Seth Cohen

Mr. Cohen is a principal for AB CarVal, responsible for managing loan portfolio and real estate investments globally. Prior to joining AB CarVal in 2009, Mr. Cohen was responsible for structured finance transaction origination, analysis and execution at Garrison Investment Group. He was previously with Silver Point Capital where he deployed both debt and equity through a range of investments in various structured product and illiquid asset classes, including consumer receivables such as mortgages, auto finance and credit cards, rediscount lending and fixed income venture capital opportunities. Mr. Cohen also co-headed the financial services group within principal finance. Mr. Cohen was previously the CEO of Franklin Credit Management Corporation, a publicly traded specialty finance company and spent four years as the chief operating officer of MagnaCare. Mr. Cohen received his J.D. from NYU School of Law and his A.B. in political science from the University of Michigan, graduating with honors and distinction.

Augustus Moy

Augustus Moy leads Capital Markets for Atlas Pearl Investments, he is also a managing member of the AM Companies. Augustus is a results driven finance professional with 20 years of direct investment experience. A celebrated graduate of New York University, his investment experience started right away and lead him across the asset classes. Over the past 20 years, Augustus has had experiences in multiple areas of the industry ranging from land acquisition and development to property management and asset management. His project specific experiences range across the asset classes over several investment cycles.

Over the recent years, Augustus has been responsible for managing investments on behalf of several family offices. Augustus and his partners collectively own and manage in excess of $3B of real estate across multiple strategies, which still are largely operated directly by the family businesses.

Currently, his focus lies on creating symbiotic partnerships with best in class operators, financiers, and other family offices. Through these partnerships Augustus ensures prompt and deliberate decision making in order to take advantage of opportunities that arise, and limit risk over the duration of the investment.

 

 

Aundre Oldacre

Aundre, Managing Partner at AoRa Development, is a construction disruptor with an expertise in offsite construction and sustainable development. He oversees the firm's portfolio, from identifying undervalued acquisitions to raising capital. His visionary approach to architectural design and holistic view of deal-making have positioned AoRa as a leader in efficient, sustainable development. Bill Kay

Bill Kay leads the capital markets activities at Ashcroft Capital, focusing on equity relationships with institutional investors such as real estate funds, endowments/foundations, major insurers, sovereign wealth funds, pensions, and family offices.  Bill has over 20 years of experience across private real estate and private equity, with a deep track record of helping to build and scale world-class institutional investment management businesses. In addition to leading institutional investor relations and fundraising at Ashcroft, he also actively participates in the investment and asset management process across the firm.

Prior to joining Ashcroft, Bill held senior leadership roles at firms including Lubert-Adler Real Estate, Apollo Global Management, and Morgan Stanley AIP. As a client-facing member of the investment teams, Bill has extensive global experience advising investors in tactical and strategic portfolio construction, in a wide array of private strategies in fund, direct, and co-investment formats.  

Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from The Fox School of Business and Management at Temple University.

Chun Yee Yip

Chun Yee Yip has more than two decades of experience in social impact and sustainability programming with private and public partnerships. Currently, the Vice President of Social Impact at Lendlease, she oversees and drives the company’s Foundation efforts to create social value in the Americas region. Focus areas include workforce development, mental health and wellbeing, climate action, biodiversity, and food security.

 

Prior to her current role, she was the Director of Social Impact at Global Brands Group, a division of Li and Fung where she developed strategic philanthropy programs, implemented sustainability initiatives, and created community engagement solutions. In the non-profit sector, Chun Yee worked in development and external affairs at Third Street Music School Settlement, the Museum of Chinese in America (MOCA) and the US Fund for UNICEF. She also has held leadership roles at fashion and lifestyle companies such as Ann Inc., Hello!Lucky and Givenchy developing corporate social responsibility programs, strategic plans, and integrated marketing and communications strategies.

 

Chun Yee’s commitment to advancing environmental and social sustainability solutions in communities comes from her hope to leave a better world for her young daughter. She is engaged with thought leaders in the property sector to further social impact efforts and is a frequent guest speaker on ESG, social value creation and measurement, workforce development strategies and mental health in the workplace. She received her BA in political science at Barnard College and MIA in international economic policy at The School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University. During her free time, she enjoys skiing, aerial yoga, traveling and eating dim sum.

Courtney Ziminski

Courtney M. Ziminski. Ms. Ziminski joined the Baceline Group in 2018 and currently serves as Senior Vice President of Property Management. In her role, Ms. Ziminski is responsible for providing strategic direction and managerial oversight to several of Baceline’s property operations departments, including Property Management, Construction Management, and Lease Administration. She is also charged with monitoring industry trends in each of these areas and identifying opportunities to increase operational efficiencies across the entire portfolio of assets. 

Since joining the Manager, Ms. Ziminski has introduced improved processes, policies, and procedures and has played a critical role in streamlining operations at both the property and portfolio levels. Through the successful implementation of these initiatives, Ms. Ziminski has also been able to transform the Manager’s approach to property operations and create an organizational structure that is designed for sustained, scalable growth. She is a subject matter expert and provides valuable leadership and guidance to one of Baceline’s essential business units. 

Prior to joining Baceline Group, Ms. Ziminski spent more than 15 years gaining specialized real estate industry experience with two global real estate firms. She directed all property and facility management activities at the world headquarters for RE/MAX, LLC and then managed a portfolio of commercial office buildings on behalf of JLL. Ms. Ziminski brings an exceptional level of professionalism to her role at Baceline Group and has helped to bolster an institutional mindset throughout the organization.

Ms. Ziminski graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a focused minor in Economics. She is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Colorado and holds both the IREM CPM and BOMA RPA designations.

Douglas Lyons

Douglas W. Lyons is a Managing Principal of Pearlmark, with responsibility for the firm’s capital markets and debt investment activities. He is also a member of the firm’s Management and Investment Committees. Prior to joining Pearlmark in 1996, Mr. Lyons was Vice President of Equity Institutional Investors, Inc. where he was responsible for merchant banking activities and strategic portfolio management projects for the Zell/Merrill Lynch Real Estate Opportunity funds, the Zell/Chilmark Fund, and other Sam Zell-related affiliates. In addition, Mr. Lyons actively managed an institutional portfolio of REIT stocks. Previously, he worked in the New York Real Estate Capital Markets groups for Bankers Trust Company (1989-1991) and Merrill Lynch & Co. (1987-1989).

Mr. Lyons earned a BA degree in History from Amherst College where he was a two-time All-American in soccer, and his MBA from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Administration. He currently serves on the Harvard Alumni Real Estate Board. Mr. Lyons is also a member of the Pension Real Estate Association and the Urban Land Institute, where he is a Trustee. Mr. Lyons currently serves as a Trustee of the Loomis Chaffee School chairing its Buildings and Grounds Committee and previously served as a Trustee for Lycée Français de Chicago and Chair of its Facilities Committee and as Treasurer of St. James Cathedral in Chicago.

 

Ellie Troxell

Ms. Troxell joined Harrison Street in 2021 as a Senior Associate on the Impact team. She supports the development and manages the day-to-day implementation of the firms ESG initiatives. Her key areas of focus include climate risk and resiliency, decarbonization strategy, environmental data management and analytics, performance tracking and reporting, and project-based support. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Troxell was a civil engineer at a sustainability consultancy where she developed and implemented urban climate action and resiliency planning projects for municipalities, utilities, and enterprise. She brings additional experience in green building certification management and academic research related to water equity in California.

Heather Mutterperl

Heather Mutterperl has over 30-year experience in real estate investment management.   She brings an expertise in asset and portfolio management to her current role of Principal for Investcorp.  Heather rejoined Investcorp in 2015 from Hudson Realty Capital, where she was a Managing Director and Head of Investment Management. From 2001 to 2006, Heather was an Asset Manager at Investcorp. From 2007 – 2008 she was a senior member of the Tri-Lyn Investcorp Mezzanine fund. Prior to Investcorp, Heather was an Asset Manager with PaineWebber Real Estate in New York and a Vice President at Clarion Capital.

Heather holds a BS degree in Facilities Planning and Management from Cornell University and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

 

John Randall

John Randall joined PCCP in December 2009 and leads East Coast originations for the Firm out of New York. Since joining PCCP, Mr. Randall has originated over 100 equity and debt transactions aggregating in excess of $2 billion including hotel, retail, office, condo, multi-family and industrial investments and including senior debt, mezzanine, preferred equity and joint venture equity.  Prior to PCCP, Mr. Randall spent six years and invested over $1 billion in real estate debt and preferred equity positions within the Real Estate Private Equity group of Lehman Brothers. Prior to Lehman Brothers, Mr. Randall was a Vice President with Deutsche Bank, originating and underwriting mezzanine investments for the DB Real Estate Mezzanine Investment Funds. Mr. Randall's experience also includes work at Daiwa Securities originating and structuring conduit loans for their CMBS group.  Mr. Randall started his career with Arthur Andersen and Jones Lang Wootton where he valued over $1 billion of real estate in the U.S. and Latin America. Mr. Randall has over 25 years of real estate experience and holds a B.A. in Economics from Bowdoin College, magna cum laude, and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Kelly Souza

Leslie Mayer

Leslie J. Mayer is an Executive Managing Director of Retail Services for Cushman & Wakefield headquartered in Century City/Los
Angeles, California. Since joining CW in 2004, she has been a key asset in the considerable growth of the Retail Platform in Southern California, domestically and cross-borders. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Leslie operated her own national retail brokerage firm, The Mayford Group for nearly 15 years.
With more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience, Ms. Mayer provides strategic planning and real-estate services to a select group of private and institutional clients, both Landlord and Tenant on regional, national, and international levels and provides leasing, sales and consulting services for restaurants, shopping centers, retail/entertainment projects, creative office buildings, and new developments. She helps develop overall market strategies for both tenants and developers as well as the acquisition, re-purposing and disposition of assets. She advises on the incubation of new retail, entertainment and restaurant concepts and spearheading their expansion programs. She has been the exclusive National Master Broker for Skechers Shoes (NYSE: SKX) for over twenty-one years.

Manish Shah

Manish Shah is a Senior Managing Director at Palladius Capital Management, where he focuses on real estate investment origination and management and oversees legal matters for the firm. Mr. Shah is also a member of the firm’s investment committee and helps to lead the debt and income funds for Palladius.

Mr. Shah has decades of experience investing in real estate across the capital stack. Previously, Mr. Shah served as a principal and manager of numerous real estate investments, including control equity, preferred equity, mezzanine and senior debt investments. His prior experience includes the turnaround of a publicly traded company (acquired NYSE: EMR), where he was responsible for business and real estate acquisitions and divestitures. He began his career in the investment banking divisions of Bear Stearns and Morgan Stanley.

Mr. Shah has served on or currently serves on the Board of Advisors for Yale’s Jackson School of Global Affairs, Harvard’s Real Estate Alumni Board and the boards of public and private technology companies.

Michael Lupo

Mr. Lupo is a Principal and Co-Founder. Mike founded CCL in August 2019 after 4.5-years as a Managing Director at credit hedge fund DW Partners. Since inception, CCL has acquired, originated, or advised on transactions in excess of $1B. During his tenure at DW, he originated over $500MM of special situation real estate debt. Michael worked with ESG Kullen from 2013 through 2015 as Director of Acquisitions where he capitalized several hundred million in debt and equity. His 20+ year real estate career spans securities analysis, CMBS structuring and diligence, acquisitions, and finance. He has a BS in Economics from The George Washington University and an MBA from Columbia Business School

Michael Negari

Mr. Negari is the Co-Founder and Executive Vice President of Sovereign Capital NYC. Michael’s duties include sourcing, due-diligence, underwriting, financing, capital markets and asset management. Prior to Sovereign, Michael spent 11 years in the mergers and acquisitions sector. As an M&A Associate at Oberon Securities, he assisted corporate clients with their acquisitions, divestiture and capital raising efforts across a number of sectors as he led deal teams.  Mr. Negari provided acquisition guidance to several mega and mid-market sized private equity firms within real estate and financial institutions. Prior to this, Michael was a Senior Associate at Duff & Phelps’ Valuation Advisory Services group focused in M&A. Clients served include D.E. Shaw & Co., Fortress Investment Group LLC, Apollo Management L.P., Conversus Capital L.P., Newcastle Investment Corp., The Carlyle Group, among others. While pursuing and completing his MBA in Corporate Finance at Fordham University, Mr. Negari spent two years as an M&A Associate at David N. Deutsch & Co. (boutique investment bank). Prior to obtaining his MBA, Mr. Negari was a Financial Analyst within AIG’s Global Investment Group managing $11.9Bn (AUM) with clientele including some of the largest global corporations.

Remy Raisner

Mr. Raisner is the Founder and CEO of The Raisner Group (formerly Proteus Capital Management), a private real estate investment firm headquartered in New York City. 

Under his leadership, The Raisner Group has raised capital domestically and internationally since 2009. It has been active in non-performing notes and fee simple transactions, and focuses primarily on value-add, residential and mixed-use real estate investments in New York City. Most of the firm’s acquisitions have taken place in the outer boroughs, with an emphasis in the emerging Brooklyn neighborhoods of Bushwick, Bed Stuy and Prospect Lefferts Gardens.

After working as an equity trader in New York, Mr. Raisner worked for a real estate investment firm in Argentina, where he focused on Latin American acquisitions. Mr. Raisner holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He is a CFA Charterholder, a member of NYPEN Real Estate, a Foreign Trade Advisor to the Government of France and a Board Member of the NorthEast Committee.  He also serves on the Board of Advisors of La Maison Française of New York University.  He is a Founding Member of the Transatlantic Forum of the French-American Foundation and an Advisor to Concordia, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering Public-Private Partnerships for social impact.

He has been a Contributor on real estate, business and foreign affairs topics for publications such as The Huffington Post, Forbes, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Observer and Le Monde.  He was named a 2020 Rising Star in Real Estate and a 2021 Notable in Real Estate by Crain’s New York Business.

Prior to his career in business, he played professional basketball.



Trey Shores

Trey Shores heads up global development and acquisitions for Pied-a-Terre, a work-from-anywhere brand co-developed with and run by Ace Hotel Group. Shores has been with Ace since the early 2010s, serving as the group’s Asia-Pacific representative and development director, based in Tokyo. Prior to joining back up with Ace in 2021 to create Pied-a-Terre, Shores was part of the Melbourne-based development group, Argo, affiliated with one of Australia’s top builders, Hickory.  In his current role, Shores works with LPs, equity investors and sponsors in cities around the world to unlock value and potential in re-positioning of hospitality and office assets. Ace Hotel typically works with developers/owners to create mini-eco-systems in and around the hotel, for instancing helping to sign 23 leases for retail and other concepts to be part of Ace Hotel Kyoto. In his current role, Shores is effectively across acquisitions, operations and asset management, giving him a broad picture and understanding of commercial and operational real estate.  



Daniel Sullivan

Alecia Hill joined FCP in 2022 as Vice President – Assistant Portfolio Manager and is responsible for expanding the firm’s impact investing housing platform, as well as advancing firmwide strategic initiatives within Social Impact and ESG.

Alecia specializes in affordable housing and community development finance and works closely with FCP’s Acquisitions and Asset Management teams. Prior to joining FCP, Alecia worked in the Impact Investing Team at Enterprise Community Investments where she focused on new fund development, transaction underwriting, and innovation for a dedicated impact-focused workforce housing strategy.  She is a member of the ULI Washington Women’s Leadership Circle and Women in Housing Finance. Alecia received her MPA in Finance from Columbia University and her Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University.

Peter Sherman

Peter Sherman joined Morrison Street Capital in 2018. Out of the firm’s New York office, Mr. Sherman is responsible for the sourcing, underwriting, due diligence and closing of new investments for the Morrison Street Funds. Mr. Sherman is also responsible for trading activities and portfolio management of the firm’s CRE securities portfolio.
Previously, Mr. Sherman worked as an Associate Director at Marcus & Millichap within the investment sales division. In this role, he was responsible for the financial analysis and underwriting of all client acquisitions and dispositions across all property types, with a primary focus on retail properties. During his time there, he actively participated in the analysis of over 350 properties with an estimated value of over $2.5 billion. Mr. Sherman began his career at VEREIT (formerly ARCP), a real estate investment trust based in New York, where he actively participated in the underwriting, pricing and diligence of large entity- and portfolio-level transactions.
Mr. Sherman received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Binghamton University.
