Ralph Rosenberg

Partner, Global Head of Real Estate, KKR

Ralph Rosenberg (New York) joined KKR in 2011 and is a Partner and the Global Head of KKR's Real Estate Platform. Mr. Rosenberg is Chairman of the Board of Directors of KKR Real Estate Finance Trust Inc., Chairman of the Board of Directors of KKR Real Estate Select Trust, and a member of the Board of Directors of KKR Realty Japan Management. Prior to joining KKR, he was a partner at Eton Park Capital Management and managed his own firm, R6 Capital Management, which later merged into Eton Park. Previously, Mr. Rosenberg was a partner at Goldman Sachs. Mr. Rosenberg is a member of the Board of AFIRE, a Governor of the Urban Land Institute Foundation, and serves on the Brown University Investment Committee and the Investment Committee of the Urban Land Institute. He is a former global and U.S. Trustee of the Urban Land Institute, former chair of the Board of Directors of the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) and a former member of the Board of Directors of the PREA Foundation. He is an Emeriti Member of the Brown University Corporation and is an Honorary Trustee of the Francis W. Parker School in Chicago, Illinois. He is also a former trustee of the Stanford Graduate School of Business Trust and a former trustee and former vice-chair of the Board of Directors of the Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, New York. Mr. Rosenberg holds an undergraduate degree from Brown University, where he graduated magna cum laude, and holds an M.B.A from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Dean Adler

Dean Adler is CEO and Founder of Lubert-Adler Partner, L.P., a real estate equity firm with over $7 billion in equity and $17 billion of assets under management. He serves as head of the investment committee and is responsible for leading the strategic direction of the firm.
Adler began his career at Ernst & Young, Baker and Hostetler and CMS. He is an Executive Committee Member and Research Sponsor for the Zell/Lurie Real Estate Center of The Wharton School. He has been a keynote speaker for national real estate organizations such as the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers. Adler has served on numerous community boards and has served on the City of Philadelphia’s Economic Development Summit.
Prior to founding Lubert-Adler, Adler graduated magna cum laude from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He holds a J.D. degree with honors from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and was an instructor at the Wharton School.

Kim Hourihan

Kim Hourihan is Chief Investment Officer for CBRE Real Estate Investments (“REI”). In this role, she is responsible for the overall investment strategy for REI, including investing CBRE capital into CBRE Investment Management investment programs and Trammell Crow Company development deals.

Kim previously served as CIO – Americas Direct Real Estate Strategies for CBRE Investment Management and Portfolio Manager for one of the firm’s comingled funds. As CIO, Kim was responsible for the product strategy of the Americas. As Portfolio Manager, she was responsible for all aspects of the fund, including strategy, acquisitions, disposition and fund management. She also has served as a Managing Director and the Portfolio Manager for two international sovereign wealth fund clients, with total assets under management of more than $4 billion representing 11.7 million square feet. In this position, Kim was responsible for client relations, portfolio management, asset management, acquisitions and dispositions.

Kim is passionate about strategic thinking, continuous learning and creative problem-solving for her clients. She enjoys the tangibility of real estate, the challenge of launching new entities and the opportunity to support and coach senior talent. 

Prior to joining CBRE Investment Management in 2007, Kim was Senior Vice President at Starwood Capital Group. Previously, Kim was Partner and Regional Director at TA Associates Realty. Prior to that, she was Senior Vice President at the Georgetown Holding in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, directing multiple acquisitions ranging from a bank in Geneva to a magazine in Hong Kong. Kim began her career in 1990 at U.S. Trust Company where she was responsible for construction lending on real estate.

Kim earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Harvard University. She is a member of the NCREIF Reporting Standards Board and was named one of PERE’s 2021 Women of Influence.

Anthony Giordano, Jr.

Executive Committee, Teachers'​ Retirement System of the City of New York

Mayor Eric Adams appointed Anthony “Tony” Giordano to the New York City Public School Board in January 2023. The School Board appointment includes board membership on the $8 Billion NYC Board of Education Retirement System (BERS). Leveraging his professional experience, Giordano’s colleagues elected him to the BERS Executive Committee & the School Board Chair designated Giordano her proxy to the NYC Teachers Retirement System ($95 Billion).

Professionally, Giordano founded Legacy Partners USA, LLC, a full-service business development consultancy in 2014. Prior to launching Legacy Partners, Mr. Giordano had a distinguished twenty-year career on Wall Street, serving as Director of Sales and Marketing at hedge fund of funds, Larch Lane Advisors; Director of Pension Strategies at Credit Suisse USA; and was a senior vice president at Bank of New York affiliate, Converg Ex. Prior to Wall Street, Giordano was a City Hall lobbyist with Montalbano Initiatives, representing the interests of several labor unions and quasi-governmental agencies.


Brooklyn College (CUNY) prepared Giordano well for his current role as an education policy maker and fiduciary, as he was elected to 2 consecutive terms as chairperson of the University Student Senate (USS) and student member of the City University of New York Board of Trustees, while earning a BA in Political Science.


Giordano currently serves on the board of Bertha Lewis’ action tank, The Black Institute and on the Advisory Board of the New American Alliance. Giordano also directed the mentor program while serving the board of tenant advocacy group, Palante Harlem, and is a supporter of Kentucky-based Sparrow Missions, leading missionary teams of Wall Street professionals to Honduras in 2013 and 2014.


Tony Giordano is most importantly a proud father and husband. His two undergrad daughters, Kira (22) and Devin (20), are respectively preparing for Law and Med school. Mr. Giordano is married to New York City immigration attorney, Aizhan “Aya Baltabek” Yerezhepova.

Eric Newman

Treasury Manager, City of Stamford

Eric is responsible for treasury, investment management, and pension fund accounting. He serves as a Trustee on the Classified Employees Retirement Fund Board, Other Post- Employment Benefit (OPEB) Board, Defined Contribution Retirement Plan Board and City’s Investment Advisory Committee. Eric is a Trustee on the Town of Fairfield Employee Retirement Board and Joint Retirement Investment Board. Prior to entering government finance, Eric held finance positions at Royal Bank of Scotland, IBM Global Financing, Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder, Price Waterhouse and Soros Fund Management. Paul Capurso

President/Assistant Executive Secretary-Treasurer, New York City & Vicinity District Council of Carpenters

Paul has been a union man since he was 17. He worked his way up from journeyman to lead carpenter then to foreman, and super for an interior systems contractor. Paul wasn’t just committed to union values, he also wanted to put that passion to work in leadership. This carried him to a number of positions at the Local 157 and the Manhattan and Queens Rep Centers. In 2020, he was elected to his current position. Paul’s rich experience from every level of the union means he understands the needs and concerns of our members. He puts that experience to use leading the New York City District Council of Carpenters by advocating for union values at all levels of government.

Michael Eglit

Michael Eglit is a Senior Managing Director and Head of U.S. Originations in Blackstone’s Real Estate Debt Strategies (“BREDS”) group. Since joining Blackstone, Mr. Eglit has been involved in sourcing, underwriting, negotiating and structuring debt investments across all asset types and geographies.

Before joining Blackstone in 2010, Mr. Eglit was with Wrightwood Capital where he underwrote and originated first mortgages, mezzanine loans and preferred equity.

Mr. Eglit received a BA from Lehigh University and an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.

Clarke Hitch

Clarke Hitch is a Managing Director in the Blackstone Real Estate Debt Strategies Group, where he is involved in sourcing, underwriting, negotiating and structuring senior loans, mezzanine loans, preferred equity and other debt investments across all asset types and geographies throughout the U.S.

Prior to joining Blackstone in 2013, Mr. Hitch worked at Morgan Stanley in the Commercial Real Estate Lending Group.

Joel Traut

Joel Traut (New York) joined KKR in 2015 and is a member of the Real Estate team. Paul B. Fine

Paul Fine (New York) joined KKR in 2015 and is a member of the Real Estate team. He is responsible for sourcing and executing debt investments across KKR’s real estate credit strategies. Prior to joining KKR, Mr. Fine was a director at Cantor Fitzgerald where he helped to set up the real estate finance platform and was responsible for loan originations. Francis Greenburger

Francis Greenburger is an American real estate developer, literary agent, author, art collector, philanthropist, and founder of Time Equities Inc., Art Omi, Inc., and the Greenburger Center for Social & Criminal Justice. Francis Greenburger is the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Time Equities Inc. Founded in 1966, Time Equities Inc. (TEI) has been in the real estate investment, development, and asset & property management business for more than 50 years. He is also the Chairman of Sanford J. Greenburger Associates (SJGA), a literary agency founded by his father in 1932. He is the Founder and Chairman of Art Omi and Art Omi Pavilions, a sculpture and architecture park, unique museum complex, and arts center founded in 1992, which also provides residencies for visual artists, writers, dancers, musicians, and architects from all over the world. Most recently, Mr. Greenburger founded the Greenburger Center for Social and Criminal Justice in 2014, which advocates for reforms to the criminal justice and mental health systems. He also serves on the board of several not for profit organizations and is an active donor to over 300 charitable organizations. Mr. Greenburger graduated from Baruch College in 1974 with a degree in Public Administration. He is an avid tennis player and traveler. He resides in Manhattan with his wife, Isabelle Autones, and is the proud father of four children: Morgan, Noah, Julia, and Claire.

Lee Levy

Lee is a managing director in the Real Estate Group within Goldman Sachs Asset Management, serving as co-head of US Real Estate Credit Investing. He joined Goldman Sachs as a managing director in 2017.
Prior to joining the firm, Lee spent seven years at TPG and Deutsche Bank, where he was a managing director and a founding member of TPG Real Estate Finance, a carve out of Deutsche Bank’s Commercial Real Estate Special Situations Group business. Before joining Deutsche Bank, he held positions at Centerbridge, Morgan Stanley and LNR Property Corp.

Lee is a member of the executive committee of the Board of Directors of Jewish Community Project Downtown.

Alan Todd

Managing Director/Head of CMBS Strategy, Bank of America

Alan Todd is head of U.S. Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS) Research and a member of the CREFC Board of Governors. In this role he is responsible for providing in-depth analysis and macro-level overviews of the CMBS, CMBX and commercial real estate markets. 

Alan brings over 20 years of CMBS experience to this role and is highly regarded for his recommendations and timely market calls. Alan correctly called the recovery of the CMBS market since the 2009 bottom and the decline of the CMBS market in 2008. Alan has been ranked in the top 3 for CMBS strategy in the Institutional Investor All-America Fixed Income Research team survey in each of the last fourteen years. 

Alan joined Bank of America Merrill Lynch in August of 2011 from J.P. Morgan, where he was head of CMBS research since 2005. Previously he spent five years at Bear Stearns, also in CMBS Research. Prior to joining AIG Global Real Estate in 2009, Mr. Hertz was a Managing Director at Amstar Global Advisors, a private equity fund, where he was responsible for all real estate investments and dispositions, with assets in Russia, Turkey and India. Prior to Amstar, Mr. Hertz was a Managing Director at AIG Global Real Estate where he was responsible for U.S. retail property investments. Yorick Starr

Yorick Starr is Senior Director of Structured Investments with Invesco Real Estate ("IRE"). Based in New York, Yorick is primarily responsible for loan originations covering the East Coast region, with an emphasis on the primary and gateway markets. Loan products are focused on non-recourse, floating-rate, transitional senior and subordinate loans (including mezzanine loans and B-notes) secured by institutional quality real estate. Prior to Invesco, Yorick worked at Wells Fargo for 15 years in Real Estate Merchant Banking division, with experience ranging from opportunistically acquiring commercial real estate loans (single notes & pools) in the secondary market and providing leverage on commercial real estate loans acquisitions (performing loans through NPL pools) as well as leveraging direct originations by debt funds (A/B, senior/sub, note-on-note, & repo structures).

Robert Deckey

Managing Director, Invesco

Robert Deckey is a Managing Director with Invesco Real Estate (IRE). In this role, he is responsible for executing IRE’s investment strategy in the East Coast, including industrial, apartments, office, affordable housing, manufactured housing, self storage, and retail. Since joining Invesco, he has completed $6.5 billion in investments, including ground up developments, value-add redevelopments, joint ventures and core. He is a member of the screening committee and investment strategy group. He also is a board member of Homestead Communities, a manufactured housing company based in San Francisco. Prior to joining IRE in 2016, Mr. Deckey was chief investment officer of George Comfort & Sons, Inc., where he was responsible for new acquisitions and capital markets, including a number of large distress office building investments, like Worldwide Plaza in NYC in 2009. Mr. Deckey also worked for over 10 years in real estate corporate finance at Citigroup and JP Morgan. He advised real estate investment trust clients on equity and debt raising, initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and asset sales. Before that, Mr. Deckey worked at AEW and EF Hutton in acquisitions and portfolio management. He has over 30 years of real estate experience. Diann Hsueh

Diann Hsueh joined CBRE Investment Management in 2010. Diann is the Deputy Portfolio Manager for CBRE Strategic Partners U.S. Value 8 and 9 and is responsible for driving each fund’s investment performance. She played a key role in prior capital raising efforts, yielding over $4.9 billion in equity commitments for CBRE Strategic Partners U.S. Value 7, 8 and 9.

From 2010 to 2017, Diann was a member of the firm’s acquisitions team, responsible for underwriting, negotiating, structuring and closing transactions throughout the U.S. Diann was directly involved in the acquisition, financing and disposition of over $3.0 billion in investments.

Alex Schaefer is Vice President, Transactions for AXA Investment Managers. AXA-IM is part of AXA Group, the Paris-based multinational insurance firm.  AXA-IM is the largest real estate asset manager in Europe and one of the largest worldwide.  At AXA-IM, Alex focuses on investments across the risk spectrum and across property types in institutional markets throughout the country where AXA typically invests alongside proven, vertically-integrated sponsors.

Before AXA, Alex worked for TKF Real Estate Investment where he focused on value creating investments in office and mixed-use assets located in urban centers throughout the east coast.  Previously, he was Head of Acquisitions for ALTO Real Estate Funds, a NY based private equity fund that invested in value-add assets across the country alongside veteran local operating partners. Before ALTO, Alex was a Director of Acquisitions for VEREIT, a publicly-traded REIT that owned over 4,000 properties in 49 states. He found himself at VEREIT after working for American Realty Capital in various capacities before eventually transitioning over to a publicly-traded investment vehicle that was merged in to VEREIT. Susan Morth

SUSAN MORTH is the CEO of the Energy Improvement Corporation, a NY State C-PACE program administrator. Ms. Morth leads overall operations, including the development and implementation of OPEN C-PACE, a public/private partnership that provides commercial property owners innovative financing for energy efficiency and renewable measures. Ms. Morth is the Founder and Chair of the EIC Advisory Committee, a national C-PACE working group which includes large commercial property managers and specialty finance companies. Katie Cappola

Curtis Probst

Curtis Probst is CEO of New York City Energy Efficiency Corporation: a green bank that finances energy efficiency and clean energy projects in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, with a focus on disadvantaged communities. Before joining NYCEEC in 2018, he was a Managing Director and the Head of Sustainable Finance for RMI, a global clean energy think tank. Founder and CEO, The Raisner Group

Mr. Raisner is the Founder and CEO of The Raisner Group (formerly Proteus Capital Management), a real estate private equity firm headquartered in New York City.

Initially, The Raisner Group purchased distressed apartment buildings auctioned off by banks. Since then, it has made instrumental contributions to the rebirth of Brooklyn.

Under his leadership, Proteus has raised capital domestically and internationally since 2009. It has been active in non-performing notes and fee simple transactions, and focuses primarily on value-add, residential and mixed-use real estate investments in New York City. Most of the firm’s acquisitions have taken place in the outer boroughs, with an emphasis in the emerging Brooklyn neighborhoods of Bushwick and Bedford-Stuyvesant.

Starting 2013, The Raisner Group also became involved in PropTech, through its affiliate Raisner Tech Ventures, and made seed round investments in such startups as TheGuarantors, Enertiv, RealCrowd, LeasePilot, Nooklyn and PlotBox.

Shaunak Tanna

Shaunak Tanna is an executive director at PGIM Real Estate. Based in New York, Shaunak is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and structuring real estate investments including senior and mezzanine loans and preferred equity transactions for the eastern U.S. 

Prior to joining PGIM Real Estate, Shaunak was Head of Structured Investments for Basis Investment Group, LLC, where he was responsible for the firm’s mezzanine and bridge lending, and originated a range of investments across stabilized, development and transitional value-add properties. John Randall

Craig Deitelzweig joined Marx Realty as its President and CEO in 2017 and has been responsible for growing the company as well as streamlining the company’s strategy by focusing on value-add office investments in three core markets: New York City, Washington D.C. and Atlanta. Craig is also charged with repositioning Marx’s entire portfolio as well as growing the Marx team and profitability. Peter C. Lewis

Mansoor Ghori

He is integral to underwriting and structuring transactions, leveraging his 30+ years of experience in structured finance.
Prior to Petros, he was the President and CEO of Accent Capital and was responsible for the investment and administrative activities of the firm. He was also a Managing Director at Transamerica Technology Finance Corporation, which was subsequently acquired by GE Capital, and a Principal at Sternhill Partners, a $100 million venture capital firm based in Houston.
Prior to joining Sternhill, he was the Founder and SVP/Regional Manager of Imperial Bank’s Southwest Region of the Emerging Growth Industries Group (acquired by Comerica Bank).
